Rewayat a local food restaurant in G-11, Islamabad

sabazdiary

Today, I got up pretty late as I usually do on a weekend. After breakfast I decided to treat myself with an outing so I decided to go to Rewayat, a restaurant in Islamabad recommended by a close friend. And thank God, it wasn't a waste of time.

There weren't many customers so we didn't get to wait too much before we were served. I and my friend ordered from chicken barbecue menu with mint margaritas. The food was served in 15 minutes after we placed out order-pretty quick :).

seekh kabab, malai boti, white chiken handi with biryani and mint sauce.

The food was okay, except the handi. Overall it was a good experience. Its worth visiting at least once. And I recommend no ordering white chicken handi. We then left at around 5pm, the sun was setting and it was quite a sight to be honest. Overall, it was a day well spent.

Someplace in F-11/G11 sector Islamabad.

P.S: My sense of places is not very sharp so I too am just learning and exploring these sites for the first time. I hope I can get better at it with time... :)
