A public university in Islamabad, Pakistan, ranked among top 500 universities in the world



NUST was started in 1991 with the help of three military college. By 1998, NUST had six three military colleges. NUST today has 18 Constituent Schools & Colleges with campuses in four cities in various disciplines including Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Biosciences, Management Sciences, Basic/Natural Sciences, Social Sciences & Humanities, and Art, Design & Architecture.

Community Services

5000 Volunteers from all NUST Schools to actively participate in areas including social well-being, disaster relief & response, education for empowerment and leadership & social skills. A 2 Credit-hour "Community Service Course" was launched in spring 2013 to promote this trend of helping others. Volunteer also participated in flood relief efforts (2010), relief efforts for IDPs (2014), earthquake relief campaign (2015) which effected hundreds and thousands of people.
